Dear Augusto,

if you would have read the instruction-sheet, you would have known that you are supposed to drill a little hole where the set screw meets the aluminium post.
If you do this its absolutely reliable.

Dick.

clamp

Erich's clamp ROCKS!!!!
The only thing that happened is one of the screws sheared at the frame mount. No problem...turned it over and had plenty of threads left to install a new screw! Now I'm running longer screws so that if I shear another, I can still back them out from the opposite side.
Why did it shear in the first place??? Not sure, except it was tight going in. Probably should have drilled a larger hole in the upper strap.

With that said, I would definetly buy another one as they DO NOT COME LOOSE!

Will this clamp work on the new Raptor 90? The stock clamp absolutely sucks.

Hi Dave I would pm him here on RR. I know he is very busy so it may take time to reach him. His clamp is worth the wait though so hold in there.

Joe, it does work on the r 90 with a little drilling:

I'll get a closer shot soon, I rotated it and drilled some holes in it and the sideframe and used the stock hatori standoffs, its ugly but it works.

i got new orings at home depot
Be carefull, I believe the standard O-rings are Viton (a Hi Temp material) the ones at Homey Depot are not.

I have 2 of Erich's clamps on my Fury's and they line right up and you'll have no problems. It's best clamp I have found for a fury with hatori SB-16. His e-mail is in one of the above post.

For viton o rings go to mcmaster.com put part number 9464k32 in the search box. 25 o rings for 8.16 are the ones I've been using for about 2 years with no problem.
