BK

I still do have the BK. Believe it or not it is the nicest of the lot! The local doctor I bought it from told me that the helicopter manufacturer used it to bring it around to hospitals as a demonstration in their salespitch for the full scaler. He bought it and displayed it in his kitchen over the sink for several years(very cool house ). It has only been run once- ever- when I spooled it up to check it out. The graphics are all paint- even the numbers with shading, etc. It has to be on of the nicest BK's you'll see.

Festus, I would guess that a Tempest would fit. I had my XL 60 with 30" boom in it. MPDano recently finished building his and I am sure he is more familiar with it's dimensions.

Hi CP8 and Festus,

I am unfamiliar with the Tempest, but if it has the same height as the X-Cell 60 (1001). I am sure it would fit. I ended up using a 31.5" boom on mine. I'm still scared to fly it past hovering since I put a whole lotta work into it. Plus just coming off Lasik surgery 2-1/2 weeks ago doesn't help either
