Here's the setup:

Fury Expert
Canopy from CanopyFX (Joe)
3 x 9252 digitals on cyclic/collective
GY-401 and 9253 on tail
9205 analog hi-speed on throttle
GV-1 governor - 3 speeds 1650, 1750 (main), 1800 (autos)
OS-61WC with Hatori #666
2400 mAh sub-C NiCd
R149 DP Rx
Gem 2000 voltage-monitor
700 mm V-Blades
Stock white paddles with the LE sanded about 1/16"

Only upgrade/change to kit - MA95 mm carbon tail blades vs. the translucent plastic ones that wouldn't allow the GY-401 to stop on a dime like the carbon ones do. Plastic ones resulted in 'overshoot' on stop rate during piros to one side.

All I've done to get rid of any non-perfect CCPM related swash issues throughout the collective/cyclic range was to add two mixes on the 9ZWC2: Specifically, added between +/-1 and +/-4 degrees of Pitch to ELE and Pitch to AIL were added to make it climb straight and level right-side up and inverted.

Flys great. Might need some slight tweeking on a AIL/ELE mix but not noticeable. Might also add some MA flybar weights.

Any comments or tips guys? Check my gallery for a few more.

Thanks Dave. Oh great one, I HAVE my delay set to 0 on the 401 but will re-check again. Regardless, when I switched to the carbon tail blades, the issue stopped with no gyro adjustment and I was able to crank up the gain slightly as well. Can't explain it. Good tips on the header BTW. Are you using a 9Z radio?

Mike,
Sounds and looks great! When are you guys coming back up to Easley, SC ? I've finally got the gyro issue squared away with the SKY 4 Jet Ranger and it's flying great, Henry flew it the other day at a local fun fly and liked it. I need you to give me some scale pointers! Your Bell sure is sweet!!

Mike,
The invite is ALWAYS open. I just keep missing you guys from having to work the weekends a lot of times. Give me an e-mail and we can get together and do some flying. I would also like to start making trips down your way also!
I'm wondering how Huntsville went. Henry and Wayne went over to that one this week end. Anyone else?? I had to work.

Later,

Actually, I think I'm going to set that one to 1900. What I meant was that I hit that switch on the climb-up for an auto so that I have max speed just before I pull the switch.
