I've bought a few things off here and have never had a problem. That's not to say it has never happened, but the majority of people on here seem very trustworthy as far as I'm concerned. I just bought a gyro off here last week, so I'd go for it. Hope this helps.

I've bought items from various RR members that had things advertised here and all my dealings have been very positive so far.
I will even buy from Junior members if I have a good feeling about the person. I just wish they would fill out their profile abit more.
Just have to use your own judgement and if something don't feel right don't be afraid change your mind about the sale or purchase.

IMHO.

I have sold a few things on RR as well as RCOnline, ebay, and EZone. I have also bought from all of those places.

So far I have had fairly good luck and have met some pretty nice people.

I did have one bad transaction with a RunRyder member a couple of months ago. I sold the guy a gyro and he claimed he never received it. I was in such a hurry when I dropped it off at the post office that I didn't get delivery confirmation. My mistake. I sent him his money back since I had no way to prove he didn't get it. I would have thought it just got lost, except a good friend of mine had a questionable transaction with the same guy around the same time.

So just be careful when dealing with people you don't know. Also, always test your product right before packaging it so you know it works. Then insure it and buy delivery confirmation or some sort of tracking method when you send it.

Good luck.

Do your reasearch. Check the guy out look for references. Does he have a web site? Is he using a real E-mail account rather than Hotmail or Yahoo? Is he on the good guy list? Not just here but check all the boards. Check them on Paypal, you would be surprised what you can find there.

Most folks prefer payment before sending out their goods. It gives them the assurances that most folks need.
