On my new Futaba GV-1 the 'voltage display' it says 9.9 volt regarding the status of the battery. Have anyone else seen this problem ?

GV-1 Voltage display

In his web site JKHeli.com , Jason makes the comment that the voltage display seems to be inaccurate and that he would recomend that you check voltage with a meter.

There is a big difference between inaccurate and compleatly wrong voltage display. My display always shows 9.9volt (> 2x true voltage) regardles if the battery is fully charged or almost empty.

voltage?

I've never had a problem with mine, always reads between 4.9 v and 5.4.

I don't think I would fly with it reading 9.x v, obviously there is something wrong with the GV1.

I don't rely on my GV-1 for voltage readings, I use a separate voltmeter.

Maybe you confuse it with the Gear Ratio. Sorry for the silly question.

Hello

I don't think maxnil is that stupid that he has it mixed up with gear ratio...

The thing is that it displays 9.9v which is the most that display can show. This must mean that the part that measures the voltage is not working correctly. He says there is absolutely no other problem with the GV-1. It reacts correctly to change in idle-ups with different rpms etc.

I would return the GV-1 and get a new one
