I have been using some JR 517 servos on my Raptor 30 for about a year now. I have flown quite often and I just realized that if I move one side of the servo horns up and down sightly they make a buzzing noise and the servo actually moves a degree or two, however on a 591 I recently added to the tail it does not do this. Is this a sign the servos are nearing the end of their life of is this normal for a servo that has been used well?
Thanks for any help.

Servo specs

Hi

I think, and don't quote me on the is the 517 has bushes, and after time slop is introduced as they wear.

The 591 has ball bearings and should be tighter form the word go.

Let me just say again, I think this is the case as the 591 is the ' new ' 517.

correct ....517's do not have bearings

only bushings..probably just normal wear on the servo. JR has an upgrade kit for those servos to make them ball bearing, and it only cost like $5 a servo..then they would equivilent to say 527's or 537's.. check it out..
