Hi Everyone;
Only Five hours everyone!!!!
I got this new NBC Twin Star ARF from Century done in about five hours. In fact it took me longer to decide whether I should put an extra plywood on the fuse where the mainframe sits (well excuse me. I’m from the old Scholl). Anyway I'm very happy with the product. I did not have a single problem from I opened the box, thru building and test flying it.
The main mechanic is already built (main frames, fuel tank, gear…etc). The head, Tail gearbox, boom were already built also, the only thing I had to do was: install the engine, muffler and radios. Insert the tail boom in and bolt the mainframe to the fuse. Then I was ready to fly it. It is an easy kit, I call it a dummy-proof kit..
The Fuse is pre painted and pre cut for the muffler. It comes with beautiful paint scheme Chopper 4 NBC with a super gloss finished.
Two Thumbs Up Century
I have some pictures at http://www.homanns.com/handihomann/...bc_twinstar.htm

NICE!!!

Man, that looks great. I am impressed with the paint scheme. Not the run of the mill ARF stuff you see all the time. (I don't even want to think how many hours I put into my Century H500E)

Looks as though it flies as good as it looks!

Very Nice

Handi, very nice. You need to bring it out to the TOC Field so we can get a picture of it and the bell flying together and send it to Peter.

Those landing gear are from Century, they have a limited quantity. I managed to get one.
Anyway it flies as good as it looks, I did some loops and rolls already, but still have no guts to do autos.
It weights less than 8 lbs. I did not upgrade anything, except I cut the Vent holes to make it look more realistic.
Century really did a great job.
Alan, I will be at the TOC field this weekend. I will bring my Bell-222 also. Hope my old lady does not have any special things to do. Otherwise I will be seeing you the next weekend.

Handi, that is a great lookin heli. I would love to build one of those. And for guys like me that actually have to work for a living,( unlike yourself.) The time invested sounds like somthing i could handle. Did you say Alan was in town?

Finally Got to see this Heli in person.
Boy... It's amazing how beautiful the painting is. The mechanic fits so perfect, I talked to Handi about this. He said the Hawk mechanic that came with it as an ARF is extremly well. The Hawk IV mechanic now is well improved. They all nicely fit and fly well.
