Fun and Such

What a great day to fly. Several pilots ( around 45 ) arrived early. We saw some great 3-D flying. Come on down! The weather will be good! We have been here all week and wish it was longer. Later< Terry

Hope everyone is safe down there in LA. Looks like some major storms with tornado activity are moving in from Houston.

I attended the FunFly

I was able to attend the Funfly, Friday and Sat. The weather was not the best, but It was worth the trip. I was able to meet Mike Moss, who was very helpful to everyone there.
I also met Mike Prewitt, who was very helpful in teaching me the how to, in setting up my Raptor. He went well out of his way, spending about 3 hours 1 on 1 with me. It was unbelievable how the people will go out of there way to help beginners. I deeply regret not being able to attend Sunday.

Thanks to Mike Prewitt for the help he gave me, and all who was involved in making the Mayday Funfly Possible

mayday pilot count 107

We had the best attended rain out flyin in the USA. 107 pilots started arriving on Monday 5 days before the weekend. the weather was good until Friday night when it started to rain. Saturday it rain off and on during the day but it did not stop the bravest pilot from flyin even when it was raining from under out 7600 sq.ft. canopy. several of he pilots stood under the edge of the canopy and flew hole routines in the rain.

If you have any good stories about something you did or saw at mayday please feel free to let everyone know just what they misted by not attending mayday this year.

I just wanted to thank Mike and all of the folks that put together this great event! I had a great time inspite of the rain. This was a great event even with the rain. I also have to thank the tow vehicals.. Thanks for digging us out.

Also want to thank all of the attendees. What a great group of people!

I will miss that southern hospitality and that great cooking.

DrHeli, you certainly know how to travel in style! That was a great show in the bell! I especially liked the high speed low pass down the runway on Sunday. That will forever be etched in my memory books!!

Now I just hope the trailer and or truck make it back in one piece. It is already half way home.

We are looking forward to seeing all of you again at Fall Fest and May Day 2005.

Best Regards and many thanks!

Had A Great Time At MayDay 2004

I had a great time at MayDay 2004! Even though it rained, my father, Brother-in-Law, and myself (Jean-Marie) had a great time. Mike Moss put a hell of an event together!

I can't wait until next year! DrHeli, the full scale bell flying over us was great!

And of course, Curtis was great to talk to and very down to earth!

I have tons of MayDay 2003 and 2004 pictures in my Gallery, come take a look...
