After discovering the service menu in July 2001 the question of how to electronically convert between T9ZAP and T9ZHP still remained. Last week with some advice of a friend I have successfully converted my T9ZAP-Mode2 to T9ZAP-Mode1, T9ZHP-Mode1 and T9ZHP-Mode2 (my favorite). I am now after a new set of stickers to make it look like a T9ZHP too!

The modification requires that a resistor (R133) is replaced with a different value. The advantages:

1.When I create new models or reset existing ones, the radio will now initialize them as helicopters. (airplanes if you convert to a T9ZAP)

2.If you convert between mode1/2, you will no longer need to go to FNC screen and swap the channels and trims every time you create a new model.
