The Futura SE is one of the best helis on the market. It is still relevent after 15 years. How many other helis can you say that about. I'd own another one if it weren't for the high repair cost.

Robbe Schluters

To let you know how great these machines are, I own 3 Magic schluters.
You guys talk of how great the new mechanics are but with no upgrades
these Magics I own have been flying for almost 8 years.
This is proof of good Schluter Engineering products!

Older Schluters

I have some older stuff 3 Scout 60s also and 2 Futura S/E's I think there all great and well worth the money they have been coming down on price to but you still get what you pay for and I rather pay a little now then later. I just crashed a Futura S/E with a Robbe Jet Ranger body it was heart breaking it was on the new side to with only about 15 flights but I had a Frequency glitch. I tell you the mechanics held up nice the body took most of it I guess that saved the internals.
Danny.

Futura/SE

Hi guys;
I am flying a Fury now and I love it. I also just finished building an SE. I assure you I DID NOT even read the instruction, I just looked at the drwgs and finished it in two evening watching Married with childern. The parts count is low, the bearings are huge, the fit is perfect and the canopy needs no painting.... I will tell how ie flys soon. I have a YS80 on it and the rest is stock...
I am waiting for big discounts to get another one or a Nova...
I looked at the Vigor CS and liked everything but the trailing pitch control on the head and the higher price than the SE....

Regards, Ehab.

Futura S/E

After you fly the S/E with the YS 80 you will not be turning back. The parts are basically interchangeable from the S/E to the Nova.

SE vs Fury

I just flew my new SE with the YS80. I ran three full tanks before sunset. I love this machine. it is very smooth and not twitchy at all. The power of the 80 is great. It seems to be better and faster in FFF than my Fury expert with the same blades, engine and fuel. There was no vibration at all. I did not even dial indicate anything. The YS 80 is running rich now with lots of power.

My Fury has been also great. The tail response seems to be better than the SE (I have 601 on both).

If you guys wish, I can bore with more details as I tune the SE with more flying.

Regards, Ehab
