I have not read much on the goblin 700 nitro. Does that mean it's that good, or is no one flying it? How are the belts holding up with the nitro and oils. Is it worth grabbing? I don't even see them for sale in the classified section vary often.

GOT FBL?

Yes, there are one of the best nitro helis on the market today
They compete nicely with the Synergy N7, but they are a little heavier

They are way better than the Trex 700XN

I bought a Goblin 650 Black Nitro and after about 10 flights, decided to buy the stretch kit to 700.

The 700 size with the 690 VTX blades and a YS 96SR-X is the bomb.
No problems with the belts - they are not exposed to the nitro residue anyway.

I just bought a donor-copter Goblin 570 with plans to use the JC Designs Goblin 570 Conversion to Nitro.

I'll move the YS 96SR-X out of the 700 and replace it with a YS 120SR-X, then use the YS 96SR-X in the Goblin 570 N.
The headspeed will be 2600 - that will pop for sure.

Very, very interesting. I really like the way the transmission looks. I am leaning towards the Goblin. The extra weight does not bother me. Thanks

Why do you say that?

I say that because the Trex 700N has not really changed in 10 years
It got 3 different FBL heads, it got narrower frames and it got some kludge-y idler gear system to move the motor forward to get the CG where it should have been 10 years ago (BTW: that idler gear was rushed into the 700xn as an afterthought when the flight beta testers puked on the lack of CG fix).
Other than that, it still uses 75% of the same parts as it has since it came on the market.
And, the kit 700N kit that was introduced 10 years ago was based on the 600N kit.

The Synergy N7 hasn't changed a lot either. But it was a good design from the beginning and the changes Botas made to the Synergy N7 have been significant making the airframe better
For a pod-and-boom helicopter, the N7 is (IMHO) the best on the market.

The Goblin 650BN (and 700BN) was a major change from the pod-and-boom heli that addressed a lot of the major complaints with the nitro helis on the market at the time.
But, it isn't perfect.

Align makes a minor change and releases it as "Revolutionary".
It has great marketing.
But, only good helicopters.
