Seen pictures on FB, looks very nice! I think it's the start of 550 nitros and adds to the whole 'nitro is back' theme!

Now is Align's new heli a 550 or 600N?!

I'm very curious about the weight. I'm seeing references to .50-.55 for power. A heli swinging 550s with a 600-class powerplant seems like it would be heavy. My Gaui X5 stretch swinging 550s is 4.5lbs all up and feels nice in the air---Logo 600-like disc loading. But, my Trex 600N w/ hyper .50 (way back when I had one) was in the 7s pushing 8 lbs.

I'm sure the heli is very nice. They say they've got close to 1000 flights on it. I'm just curious if they were able to trim off weight or just let it fly heavy.

Synergy make very light helis, the N7 is the lightest 700 nitro you can buy. It will have plenty of power with a 55 in and im guessing the head speed will be around 2400.

I’d be more excited if it were a 37 running 1600-1800rpm.

As I’ve said before “not all of us care for 3d and high head speeds”.

I’d be more excited if it were a 37 running 1600-1800rpm.
As I’ve said before “not all of us care for 3d and high head speeds”.

The 50 Hyper is the best glow engine I’ve ever owned.

I think it would go well in this helicopter if a 37 can’t be used.

I think if a 37 was used quite a few things would need changing, gearing etc, dont think Synergy would have all the equipment to match the OS 37 for that heli,and the OS 37 is discontinued

You cant honestly expect a manufacturer to build a brand new model for an engine that is technically not even available in the USA can you?

I had a 37 once, nice little engine. Unfortunately it met its demise here in the US before this model was conceived.

2400 was only a guess but thinking about it more that's more like an E heli 3d head speed for a 550, stock logo 550sx runs around 2150 max governed but that is a very light heli. Maybe it will be closer to that.

If it is geared for 2400 rpm then that will be a little steep for the 37 but if it's 2100-2200 it would be ok and you could always slow it down to 1600-1800.

What's the big deal ordering an OS 37 from rc Japan ?

Having the option of running either would be great.

Going back to my century days..
The hawk pro with 520's did well with a 37. the raven 50 with 570's got very good flight times.

Can’t believe how many times I heard that the OS37 is discontinued.

It’s still in production and available, just not from the US importer.

As has been said a thousand times before, what is so difficult about ordering from RC Japan?

would it not be possible for Synergy to import some for their own line , similar to what Gaui did with the NX4
I realize Gaui isn't american but not everything comes from the US
