I am trying to erase a model but keep end up copying the same model. Any one provide the sequence to erase a model.

Erase
When you open, you have a choice of copy or erase.. you have to scroll to erase and highlight it.. then you get a question to see if you want to erase and you answer with the button next to yes. That should do it for you..
