I can't even believe that ppl would actually put deals like this on fleebay.
A trex 500 for 2200.00 bucks after shipping! It better come with a diablo or banshee for that price!

I don't find those ads funny. It's good that most people already in the hobby recognize these bad deals, but people outside may not. I don't like ads that are meant to take advantage of someone else's ignorance. It does seem incredible that these ads exist but I suspect they snag someone once in a while.

If you read the whole deal... It is about $1,500 of products, a pro build and two nights in a swiss hotel when you pick up the helicopter. The seller has 100% positive feedback.

So maybe you should read a bit more. The deal may not be your cup of tea, but it might be fair. No reason to start a new thread on an old topic.

Well that's just your opinion bud but I think it's an absolutely great idea to start this thread for newcomers who come into this hobby who don't have any idea about prices. Maybe they are looking to buy a new heli and come on a forum to get info before they go searching on eBay. I would rather have them properly educated by reading these threads then just jumping on an Overpriced heli on eBay and getting frustrated and driving it in the ground and being out 2200 bucks. Plus i would rather see a newbie build there own heli to know how they go together.
But regardless everybody has an opinion and if mr Ryder feels like this is an inappropriate or useless topic then he can feel free to close it. However this is good info for newcomers (IMHO) and if certain "old timers" don't like it then please just continue on to the next thread!

Booooom Shackkalakka (mic exploding as I forcefully throw it onto the concrete floor and exploding!!!)
No I'm not trying to be a dink, I honestly just want all these beginner pilots to know there options and to stay away from the ridiculously high priced eBay helis that are supposedly "professionally"built. Cause at one time or another you and I were a newb or a beginner and the more awareness and education into this hobby is what's needed to keep a newb In the hobby!

Couple of things......

First, you're perfectly within your rights to start whatever thread you wish..... free world and Mark would never close something like this.....

This topic comes up from time to time........ won't be the last time either.....

Secondly, there's not a newby in the world that is going to spend $2000 dollars on a heli..... ebay , here or HF ! (my opinion, of course )

Been there, done that and old enough to know better.....

You can ask whatever you want to ask but in the end, the market decides what its worth, I see a lot of stuff for sale, but not much selling.
