I'm flying a 700N with a GPro and Align 610s. Over the summer, I burned out 3 cyclic servos. 2 times on the front one and once was a rear. They would start twitching while flying and it continued after landing. Thankfully it didn't cause a crash.

Swapping out the servo fixed the issue. After disassembling the servo I could smell burnt electronics.

There is no binding in the linkage, at one point I changed the swashplate with a spare I had because there may have been a burr in the bearing, but it wasn't bad enough to burn a servo IMO.

Is there something in the programming that can burn servos out? I know that too much gain can burn tail servos out prematurely.

Is the voltage to the servos correct for the servo model ?

I think about the hereafter. I go somewhere to get something, then wonder what I'm here after ?

Check your Servo frequency
- 200hz is recommended [corrected]
- DS610M have been known good for 4.8v ~ 8.2v

If everything checks out .. try dropping down to a lower swashplate fequency and take temp readings

I know if there is to much Cyclic gain the head wobbles or you see kind of a shake.

Check your Servo frequency
- 333hz is recommended
- DS610M have been known good for 4.8v ~ 8.2v
Sorry mate but...
Cyclics are 200Hz (333Hz is for the 620 tail servo)
Voltage is 4.8 to 6V

I wouldn't run them at 6V.
5.5V is a happy medium.

Check your Servo frequency

I run them at 6.0V regulated (Arizona Regulator).

Is there a setting for the servo frequency in the GPro settings? I know there is a pulse-width setting in for the tail servo.
Cyclic gain too high makes servos work a lot more.
Check temp of the servos after flying or even just a hover.
It's the off season up here (-1 degrees F this weekend), so it's repair season. I'll have to check the temp next time I fly. I'll try to set the gain lower. There isn't any head bobbing (I know what that looks like unfortunately) so I don't think it is too high, but maybe it is higher than needed.

i think ds610s is different from ds610. its for 550 or 600 heli. torque is smaller than that of ds610.

There is no 610s, co_rotorhead cleared that up above.

You mean 610 and 620. 610's are cyclic, 620's are tail although can be used on cyclic on 600's.

Servos will burn out due to running too high voltage, too fast refresh rate (although both 610 and 620 should be ok on 333hz but ide stick to 250 or lower), and vibration either directly to the servo (not using rubber grommets!) or from vibration getting to the FBL gyros. Vibration getting to the FBL can be fixed by experimenting with different tape/pads or relocating the FBL unit or sensor. The best way however is to balance the main blades, tail blades, clutch and engine fan.

60% of the time, it works every time!

Make sure your Servo horns are not rubbing against the top of the servo case. If so, file them down so you can see space between them when fully seated.
If you running the push/pull link setup, make sure both linkage are the same length and not binding against one another. If you hear constant servo humming your in a bind. also check you ball link to see if they are too tight, size the ball links as needed.

Correct. I'm using a 620 on the throttle and a 650 on the tail.

As I asked before, is there a setting in the GPro software for cyclic framerate? I know there is one for the tail.
