Everyone who owns a 600e pro knows the mod .08 gearing is crazy on the tail. I researched all the options and the most practical for me atleast was to try the 550e three blade tail. After 2 days of flying and today 30mph crosswinds doing -°13 pinned inverted reverse loops just crank8ng on it it held. Not one blow out. I'm so happy as this heli is a great heli except having to baby thru some maneuvers so you don't get a blow out which could be catastrophic. Align. Did great job with this upgrade super nice machining and right tolerances with zero slop. AWSOME took about 4t mins to build. If you guys are wanting to get your 600e to being able to take a hard 3d beating no matter what maneuver get one of these. Lowered my gain a few points around 64 now also changed timing on 750mx 530kv to °6 gain 16 governed 2450. Pulling almost 7 HP. Anyhow check it out guys I almost did the nitro gear swap but to much involved.

Couldn't the same result be accomplished by using larger tail rotor blades?

The three-bladed tail looks awesome. Even better that it works for your style of flying. I am going to look in to it. Thanks

I must be getting old. 2450 on a 600 electric sounds insane to me.

Between $62 and $70, depending on where you look.

I would think so, yes. With 105mm blades, it should hold.

over 2400 rpm the tail should be holding reguardless.

105mm tail blades would give the same result but there is not enough clearance from the main blades for comfort.

-The best fix for this hands down is to use the old umbrella gear and to slot the screw holes in the frames slightly where the boom mount attaches. This way you can get the correct mesh using the old gears since they are a different MOD. Ihave been flying mine like this for the past 3 years and the tail holds perfectly in high speed tail down funnels even at 2150 RPM!

Doesn't that also depend upon the stiffness of the blade dampeners?

That's what I thought! I guess if it's not your just being a bit silly on the sticks!

60% of the time, it works every time!
