Thanks Barry. Blades are painted, balanced and ready to beat the air into submission

What effect does offsetting the stripes on each blade have? Will that give a spiral look when in the air?

I saw it for the 1st time several years ago when I was a line guy at our local FBO. I was marshaling an MD500 to a parking spot and he stopped short of the spot I intended for him, so I signaled him to come closer towards me ( he was about 2 spots in front of me andi wanted him in the spot direcrly in front of where I stood) anyway, he nosed it forward and the top of the rotor disc became visible to reveal the most hypnotic but awesome spiral pattern. after I fuelled him up, I climbed up the ladder and checked how it was done and have been using it on several of my models ever since. unfortunately with the higher speed of our models, its a blur when viewed up close but at a distance eg. on the backstretch ( if you like to fly far away like I do) its quite noticeable. 3 and more blades work like a charm.
