You asked for good and I linked you to better.

The ability to "fine tune" a lenght versus settling for a full turn has got to have its merits even if you still have to remove it to do such, just as you would have to with the "good" rod.

In a pinch I've used 2-56 all-thread. Just cut it to length. I wouldn't use it for a 800 class DFC head but it works for throttle linkages and shorter linkages on smaller helicopters.

It's a "hobby" item. You may be able to buy it locally and not have to wait for the UPS truck.
