thats what happens when you dont deal with the problems first hand.

but since you asked I will share with you a story...

I was across the street at 2-8 Cav when Maj Nadal Hassan shot up the Soldier Readiness and processing center on Fort Hood.

why did this happen? cause no one in Nadals chain of command wanted to take responsibility for the obvious problem he was... they simply pushed him on down the line... not his neighbors, not his family, not his superiors nor subordinates alerted anyone.... worse yet no one wanted to do the paperwork. And this ex-airforce scum had the same thing happen, the paperwork simply wasn't done... my guess cause they simply did the politically correct thing.

So this ex Airforce pile of crap simply got pushed on down the line till he got kicked out and forgotten... but as a civilian no one wanted to "Out" him in public for fear of being labeled a rat or risk of being confronted by him.... not his family, not his neighbors, no one on social media, not the local police department... so the end result is that those around him that knew his violent past, knew he purchased guns and those in positions of authority failed to take action on this scum and the innocent in that church paid the price.

So your point of about not a word about one of our own is simply stupid... he was no longer "one of our own" in terms of military... in essence... he was your neighbor.

People's lives were saved by legal citizens using a legal gun.

The federal government failed again.

There was no interaction between the Air Force and the FBI and ATF.

Kelley was not allowed to legally buy a gun by our current laws.

But...our military has been so focused on taking care of transgenders and deserters, they failed to comply with their legal duties.

Again, it was good people stepping up to the plate to save lives.

No....no, not even a little bit right. Your military is focused on keeping YOU safe whilst the Commander in Chief provokes unstable North Korean leaders that have nukes with his words and empty threats.

I assure you no one in any service approves of Burgdal's actions. And trans genders are not the problem.

Why is your solution here to kill them, ban them, send them back, or blame them rather that try and understand what you dont know about?

Had it been any other race or creed, there would be so many threads affirming why "they" are bad. Yet, the latest incidences have been perpetrated by white males and all everyone wants to is place the blame anywhere else except on the killers.

Why is that?

It was clearly the Air Force that let Kelley go unnoticed such that he could legally buy guns.

It was clearly the Army that allowed Maj Nadal Hassan to operate until the moment was right to kill American service men.

It was clearly the Army that let the deserter Bergdahl walk out a free man.

It is clearly the Navy that has allowed Naval Officers to operate in an environment of corruption:
‘Fat Leonard’ probe expands to ensnare more than 60 admirals

The “Fat Leonard” corruption investigation has expanded to include more than 60 admirals and hundreds of other U.S. Navy officers under scrutiny for their contacts with a defense contractor in Asia who systematically bribed sailors with sex, liquor and other temptations, according to the Navy.

Texas church shooter escaped mental health facility in 2012

The man who shot and killed 26 people in a Texas church Sunday was checked into and escaped from a mental health facility in New Mexico in 2012, according to a police report obtained by CBS News.

Devin Kelley was sent to the Peak Behavioral Health Services Center in Santa Teresa, New Mexico, but escaped on June 13, 2012, fleeing to El Paso, Texas, according to the report. His stay at the facility came after multiple incidents between June 2011 and April 2012 in which he beat his wife and stepson, who suffered a fractured skull in one incident.

The El Paso police report warned that Kelley "was a danger to himself and others as he had already been caught sneaking firearms" onto the base, where he "was attempting to carry out death threats that (he) had made on his military chain of command."

In 2014, Kelley received a bad conduct discharge from the Air Force, which was supposed to notify the FBI of his domestic violence conviction. Kelley should have been barred from buying the weapons used in Sunday's shooting, according to Don Christensen, who at the time was the Air Force's top prosecutor.

The Air Force acknowledged Monday that it failed to flag Kelley as banned from buying firearms.

Academy Sports, a Texas store where Kelley bought two weapons, confirmed in a statement to CBS News Monday that Kelley's purchases were approved by the National Instant Criminal Background Check System.

The Air Force stinks in this case.

One of our own? What you on crack?
The goverment under the Obama administration had 3 FREAKING chances to keep this AHOLE from obtaining weapons but they dropped the ball big time.
Just who's to blame?
Please place blame where it belongs.I'm outraged alright but over a system that failed us.
