I have been JR most of my flying years and some Futaba however I switched to the Vcontrol for heli's about 6 months ago and I'm a very glad I did. Once you get used to the menu layout and features it's wonderful. Nice smooth gimbals too.

Still flying my trusty JR 12X for my airplanes.

I’m fortunate Mikado USA is about 2 miles away from me . The brand support is top-notch and any questions are answered thoroughly and never rushed off phone . I’ve had opertunity to use or build almost every brand and have had Mikado as long as I can remember probably one of the first VBars. Quality products and good guys , you’ll get spoiled once you try Mikado products .
JR is my # 2 brand

I stole it ,flew it and gave it back ;)

Wow! Talk about singing the praises. Question did the previous radio's that most had bite the dust or was it just a matter of having something more compatible with the Mikado flybarless system.
I say this because I have a Futaba 9c that works flawlessly & A J.R 11x that's great. And sometimes it gets tiresome having both systems but they work just as well with the flybarless systems

Still have my JR12X which works just fine.

The problem is that it is now obsolete....JR doesn't manufacture DSMX equipment any more.

So, I chose to upgrade to the VStabi VControl system.....as I was already using VBar MiniVs and Silverline VBar FBLs with my JR12X TXs.

Nothing wrong with the old stuff. No telemetry was fine with me. But the VBC setup is pretty slick. I don't usually pay for bells and whistles, but full setup with the Tx is great, Tribunus, Kontronik with telme or just the Mikado UI sensor tells you all you need to know about flight packs.
I have both capacity and voltage alarms setup so I fly till the VBC tells me to land. Usually by capacity but ocassionally I get a low voltage when doing power hungry manuvers towards the end of the pack.
Fly till it vibrates, look at all the data afterwards either right after the flight or go back in the archive.
I spent probably $2500 converting my entire fleet over, but I even use mini Vbars with Vplane loaded for a few planks I have. ( 8 helis ) That doesn't count what I sold my other FBL controllers for to recoup a bit of that cost.

IS it hard to Reset the V-Bar?

My radio should be here tomorrow and it's winter so I was going to play with it on a 250 or 450

then in the spring put it on my Synergy stretched E 5
