Cant be that old. Heck the guy is holding a cordless drill! Used to carry full size 12V car batteries around to power the hand held starter that weighed as much as the car battery.

That would be a good idea for another thread but instead featuring current photos of these old machines. It'd be nice to see how many are still out there in general use. I've certainly got a few.

Ok, I'll start the ball rolling, recently restored from an old wreck, a 1976 Micro-mold Linnet / Lark (forerunner of the GMP Cricket)

And followed by my Heim Lockheed 286 The white AS-355 is also an old Graupner Heim machine. I will get some flying shots soon.

Can't forget my first ever Heli, bought this one back in 1983. A Kalt Baron 20. As you can see I still have it and it's still airworthy.

I also have a 2nd one now being built from spares that I bought for the first machine. (I've still got enough for both) This one is being converted to scale though.
