was thinking of offing a bunch of heli parts instead of trying to rinse out few pennies for the odds and ends leftovers from all my days rc heli-ing, so, am willing to float the excess if you pay shipping (paypal). Give me a few days to post pics and a list.

sorry Mark, have to say one reason I wasn't pleased with a ban from hf was denied access to their free stuff forum as well as classified which I had made some purchases by and got a free scorp motor for a 360. If RR and rcg had a "FREE STUFF" category it wouldn't be so bad, something to consider in the future however. Yes being denied access to classifieds and loosing valuable contacts in the rc heli interest is very disturbing when one is pursuing a small business in rc helicopter production. I have already fabricated prototype parts for Align 700dfc, sab/devil 380/420 and had sold some feathering shaft grommets for a Blade 300x. To be barred from any rc heli website is to be denied making cash, my 420 refit kit prototype speed will be pretty impressive when I post pics of it, I'd have to have a shill to get onto all the websites with that as things are now.

so there ya go, "FREE STUFF" is something MR should consider as a category in the classifieds, I'll start it here even though what I have is just junk anyway.

IMO, if you’re going to make parts , set up shop to sell them , etc , then you need to pay Mark a vendor fee to support the site .....

Been there, done that and old enough to know better.....

I guess all the garage type guys who want to get started on a small custom made part quantity will never get a chance to put their stuff out through the forums since everyone thinks just because someone want's to attempt getting into the business has got to pay shyt loads of cash for a "vendors" permit in advertising fees. Holy fik I haven't even got cnc programs for my hand made prototype parts, strictly limited to 380/420 to help cure a problem it has in two regards.

You know the go around to paying advertising is to post a topic and link to facebook right? or have a shill post a topic and do the same, right?

You guys are whacky, thinking all of a sudden someone in NA is going to be a big contender from the get go, do you know how much money you need to produce a line of rc helicopters? MILLIONS.

One thing at a time baby,

got the free stuff captured and will upload pics sometime today. I have to photo a lot of other junk I want to rid myself of including Hotwheels die cast cars, speaker stuff, bicycles, stuff

Get over yourself dude.

Why are you special other venders pay to advertise so you shouldn't?

If you're really trying to help people solve a small problem post it in the appropriate space and offer assistance I doubt it would be a problem.

If you call yourself ICANFLY lcc and direct people to your product I can see why you're getting shut down.

You're in for a rude surprise trying to start a small business and can't even get past fees to advertise that's nothing compared to the rest of the fees you're going to have to pay.

Best of luck to your custom shop.

Free stuff is one thing.
Advertising is not.
Being self employed I rely on word of mouth marketing and that is earned as well.
Nothing is free even the " free stuff " comes with a price.
Best you can do is keep your overhead low

spending time, paying attention

you guys are something, the mere mention of dough and your all over it with advertising fees, hey man one I haven't even got something posted as far as pics or whathaveu in a "custom heli" topic, nor do I have any line on manufacturing (yet). Should the day come when something is established and running well perhaps ad space is normal. Right now it's what some people would call "PIPE DREAMS", what are you smoking.

The whole "ad fee or else" was exactly what got me banned from another site when I choose to call a mod out and demonstrate the whole main page was littered with shill advertising and product specific topics names blazened right on the topic head line too.

are we ignorant? not very inspiring.

Mark, you ought to put a "Free Stuff" forum up asap, if you see what other people give up on the other site you'd see it is worth it.

So happens the first thing I got from a member on the other site long ago was FREE stuff in the way of 30lbs of used and broken blades sent to me at his cost, sure put those to good use, from McKovalcson I think his name is, the guy who started the "free stuff" forum on that site.

spread the cheer.

btw, when a manufacturer first produces product and/or makes a proposal they test audience reaction and field test the product at no cost to the testers eg I make blades, I send out testers to a limited number of persons for real world feedback (because my own testimonials of the greatest thing since sliced bread would instantly be poopoo'd as BULL SHYT.

free stuff.
