I am converting my nitro bird to electric and planning to use the Scorpion HK III 4035 - 560 kv. I do not have helical gears . My question is where do people get straight gear pinions, probably 12 or 13 T which fits on the motor shaft (5.98mm) and mates properly on the main gear ?
Please give a link the pinion !Anywhere in the world is okay .

Thanks Ghostrider. I just found out some straight cut pinion made my Scorpion itself :Module 1.0 ,12T , 6mm at the Scorpion website .I wonder if this works for the RAVE ?

If it's Mod 1.0 then it'll work. It's a shame you went for the 560kv motor as I have a slanted/helical delrin main gear and 15T pinion for the Rave ENV. I also have a battery tray and motor mount with pinion support. I do also have a straight cut 15T pinion but again it would be too big for your setup unless you went to 10s.
