I had a piece of tracking tape come loose on one of my low head speed machines and it sounded just like that till it came off completely. I wish I had it on video.
I was going to say that, it actually gives the helicopter a more authentic sound than a prerecorded sound.
I was flying a 60 size heli with a wide cord woody and the tracking tape came loose and i started hearing the bop bop sound and i thought it was a freight train as the field was near a rail track, i only noticed it was coming from my helicopter as it came close.

Wide Cord Blades

Can anyone point to me the wide cord blades? 600mm to 620mm is what I need.

I only found MAVS Wide Cord G5's.

Thanks Chopper. It definitely turns heads at the field.

If it sounds familiar, it's because I'm using jbewley's sound file. He was kind enough to send it to me. (Thanks again, jbewley). I think it sounds better than the stock UH-1 file that comes with the sound module.

Oh that’s great that you were able to share the file, definitely better than the stock sound.

The sounds that your blades are making are pretty nice without the sound module. The flybys are better with the sound on!

Glad you liked the sound clip. Sounds real. What size speaker are you using?

Two 4-inch speakers. Powering the amp with a 1300 6S battery.

Pat, can you post a pic of the speaker install?
Sure. Are you talking about the installation in my Huey or the speaker wiring in general?

Here are the front and rear speakers mounted in the floor. (Yes, yes, my dremel work leaves much to be desired, I know. And I will be painting those bolts/washers OD to match the helicopter)

Nope that’s what I was looking for, thanks, I was wondering if smaller speakers would give the same effect I could cut open some beats lol

I know David sells kits with two 2-inch speakers as well, but I'm not sure how those would project in a large model.
