Have you entered the correct center position and then the tail servo freq. in prior setup?

This is using the ar7200bx rx....yours should be similar.

Yes. When not in set upmode it's kinda jerky. But it has only a couple of easy flights on in. Align

I had a couple of Blade 450Xs that used the AR7200BX. At the time there were several Youtube vids on the setup of the BeastX.

Perhaps those vids are still out there. They well explained the details of the BeastX.

The BeastX manual is still online, too.

That's about all I can suggest. It's been a while since I last used it.

Make sure you are in the default 1520us pulse length (step C, Blue light). In step D the default tail servo frequency is 50Hz which is for analogue servos and you need to increase this to either 270Hz (Red solid light) or 333Hz (Blue flashing light).

Also remember the movement is very slow in setting E for the tail servo end points, so you might just not have noticed it moving.

You say you have flown it a couple of times before? Are you setting it up again after a crash?

I had to return for replacement one Beastx unit. Worked ok until I tried to reset for use on another heli, then problems started. I have 4 of the units with good results. Are you in rate or heading hold mode on the tail? Have you set up the gains of the tail channel? Have you tried a full reset?

Good luck.

I will mess around with it today again, I will try and figure out hoe to do reset maybe I mess it up completely. When I just let it power up it cycles threw normally and blue light appears but when I run cylics the swash plate acts very slow and inputs are way off then what they should be. tail seems to be ok but it doesn't correct when I pick up heli and wag tail. I haven't had to much time to mess with it but I will look at it more today.

With the AR7200BX, a reset brings it back to Blade factory settings.

Not sure what the "Factory" settings are for the BeastX.

The cyclics will be slow on the bench, that's just how they are, they don't work on a certain amount of cyclic pitch, they work on rotation rate (degrees per second). On the bench the sensors aren't sensing any rotation so the cyclic act weird.

The tail not moving could be because you are at 0 gain or you might be in rate mode.
