I can get fuel here (Killeen, TX) at local hobby Shop, but is getting way to expensive, the last case I bought it cost me about $154, just at $39 a gallon. So I have decided to mix my own fuel, so far I have been lucky. I get Nitro, and Methanol local and cheap. Making my own fuel is costing me just under $18 a gallon for 30% Nitro mix. I am not giving up on Nitro yet.

Ordering 8 cases at a time from Byrons shipping is free. $20 a gallon for 22.5% Rotor Rage. 30% is $23.90 a gallon. Ifyou can't burn 8 cases. It's usually pretty easy to find others in your area to split the cost.

Some arguments are sound and nothing more

That is a better deal. Do you order directly from Byrons or third party? Send me the info if you don't mind. It is convenient for me right now to mix my own, since I get Nitro and Met local and very cheap, the only thing I get out of town is the oil. Will see how long it last, but very happy for now.

You can call Bobbi at Byrons and buy direct 800-594-9421. The fuel just needs to be shipped to a commercial address.

He probably meant Tonnes, since Ireland is on the metric system.

That's about the price 30% is averaging nowadays, mostly because of the Hazmat shipment cost.

Yes- the cool power 30% i bought was originally marked at 37.99 a gallon in the hobby store. I thing the Youngblood Wildcat i used to buy there was pretty close to that as well. Another store in my area used to sell Byron Rotor Rage (GREAT fuel!) for about the same price but he went out of business. I have come to expect to pay about that price for a gallon of 30%.
