My fellow Raptor Fans, I want to dedicate this thread for life span extension. I disagree with TT discontinuing the Raptor line. What can we do? I figure the first step is to combine our brains to increase the lifespan of our beloved Raptor 50 Titan. We will need parts and nothing but parts, parts and parts!

Here will be the first contribution here:

1)Successfully translated complete rotor heads from Align flybared Trex 600 and very confidently Align Trex 600 DFC heads will work.
(Must use Align washout hub with TT washout arms/TT swash)

2)Complete Titan X50 rotor head successfully transplanted. (Raptor 50 titan main mase needs to be rotated upside down and an extra hole drilled. The mechanics are the same specs for the Raptor 50 body except the 4 links in the rotor head requires different sizing). (Can't use Titan X50 main mase)(Pitch needs to be reversed (Radio))

3)Titan SE is easy swap, no explanation necessary.

As I move along with tests and parts, I will update this thread! Feel free to fill in the blanks for the life extension of the R50 series. The most concerning for our series will be the belt and boom. I haven't found a substitute quite yet.

Tested the X50 rotor head this evening

This is the best hands down TT rotor head for the Raptor 50 titan series. Gonna acquire a few X50 rotors head for spare parts, don't waste your time with anything else!

Tail belt replacement found

Mikado 686xl is the belt that works on raptor titans running 620 booms.

PV0520 is the TT factory for 620 boom sized belts.

Good
Keep it coming. I really like my Raptors. I suppose I could just sell up and move the on, but I'm comfortable with them. I even like the TT 50 engine ( once you've done the needle mod) it runs like a sewing machine. Nowhere near the power of a hyper but if your just flying around it's fine.

I was really worried about drive belts going obsolete and being unavailable so bought a few and have stored them in the dark, to try and keep them good for as long as possible.

I put my 60L carb on my TT50 pro engine and Hatori pipe!

Darn thing behaves like a supercharger once past 40% throttle....power band is thick from 40% to 100%!
