I have been looking at FPV type quads for some time. The problem is I don't know anything abought them. I have been flying RC heli's and planes for 40 years. Every time I start thinking of a quad I end up buying another heli.
I keep coming back to the Spedix S250 Pro bnf fpv. I use Spektrum radios.
I am totally confused on head sets, I ware glasses.
Any input would be helpful. Just don't know where start.
Thanks, Buz

I liked the Spedix 210 so much I bought two. The newer spedix 250 has the same frame and flight control board as the 210. The arms are longer on the 250 and are more fragile because the hang out farther.
Still built like a tank...
I wear glasses also. The goggles I use are the Spektrum goggles and I took an old pair of glasses and poped the lens out of the frames and hot glued them inside the goggles and that way I dont have to wear my glasses when I wear the goggles.
I had a set of fat shark goggled and didnt like the way they pressed on my eye sockets. The spektrum goggles were $75 less then fat shark goggles.

Thanks for the reply. Good to hear that someone likes the Spedix's. I was looking at goggles at a hobby store yesterday that were on sale. They were Spectrum's but I don't know one model from the other. Do they all work with the cameras in the FPV? Is the range all the same?
Thanks, Buz

Mine will get 40 channels and the range is more dependent on you transmitter then the goggles.
The only goggles the I had that only get race band was the Fat Shark goggles. They only got 7 channels on race band.

Buz, stop into the shop this Saturday. I will bring my FPV quad in and demo it's features and flight characteristics for you.

Readymade Rc is selling the spedix 210 at an incredibly low price. I just pick up 2 more at $85 each on a spin down sale....price drops every hour till it reaches a penny or sells outs.....
