TT seems to work, but I don't like 2 to 3 thou offset. It is the machine part on the end of the TT. The TT is flat, rolls flat.
You will see in my signature that I am a rep for Amain. Not trying to give you a hard time, but you seem put out with their not replacing your TT. In all honesty, your video looks at least as good, and maybe better than any TT driven heli I have.

.002-.003 is an almost negligible runout, particularly since the ends of the TT are not machined on the TT, but affixed after the tubes are cut to length.

Again, good luck on your endeavor.

No hard feelings. It is cool, I respect people's decisions. I did ask for a replacement, would have sent the old TT back. It didn't look like that was an option. I have own two other trex 500 with TT. They did not have 2 to 3 thou offset, that was over 8 years ago. Now acquiring align parts, they seem really cheap. I don't blame amainshobbies for the TT issue. What really irriated me is the person on the phone has ZERO patience. I noticed GrandRc has the same issue. I really miss heliproz, readyheli and ron lund.

Nothing like customer quality.

Flyin for Jesus

Float feeling comes from using EXPO on pitch curves. Make sure you copy them all points on N, S1, S2 and H.

The helicopter takes off like a real life machine. Was surprised how sophisticated it behaves. Try it out for yourselves guys!

Photo so you know what I mean:

EXPO versus RATIO?

You could "just" enabled EXPO and be like Cyndy Lauper where you "just want to have fun"

OR

You can adjust the pitch curve yourself knowing how and why it works.

Take for example when you have a "total" pitch range of 20° and using a 5 point "linear" pitch curve, the following represents it:

100% is +10°
75% is +5°
50% is 0°
25% is -5°
0% is -10°

Divide 100% (stick travel) by total pitch range and the result is your ratio.

100 ÷ 20 = 5

So for every 5% of stick travel, you get 1° of blade angle change as in a 5 to 1 ratio.

Add a pitch gauge and see what AOA (angle of attack) you get for every 5% of stick travel before and after "EXPO".

It's a new learning "curve"...pun intended.

And depending on the FBL unit you can adjust how the collective feels. Ikon and Brain has collective expo in the advanced menu.
In short of that what was pictured in the previous post works well when done with all flight modes.

spending time, paying attention
