I think the news media is going a little "overboard"....especially Fox.

This ain't Ron's first hurricane....

I don't think now is time to crack jokes on the suffering of the people on the coast of Texas. American Red Cross is callings for volunteers. I am sure they need just about everything. Some of the drone video shows complete devastation. As usual, Americans will help fellow Americans. I hope the storm and flooding ends soon.

I tried to get ahold of Ron and got no response.

No one's cracking any jokes at the people.

The media perhaps, but not the people.....

Positive words, positive actions. During these situations, we need the best from all Americans. Set aside differences, dig in and make a difference. If you cannot be positive, maybe wait a while until the heavy lifting is done by some amazing Americans.

This Just In From Ron Lund
We dodged a bullet. About 30 miles NE of here got wiped out. We just got back power and cable about 30 minutes ago. Friends in Rockport and Houston have it a lot worse.
Tell everyone I'm okay.
Thanks,
Ron

Would like to help
I would love to leave my family for a few weeks and help out all the Texans! The only thing I can do is donate $ and supplies. I got two little girls to watch over.

Southerners
We lived through the 2016 floods. The south has strong people. We saved our own and demod houses and interiors until our hands bled. Very little whining and lots of work.

I work with alot of Texans in the Fire/Rescue side of my business.
They don't make more capable or tougher people. My friends with the Cajun Navy left while it was still raining.
Praying for the best for them. But Texas don't run.

They will come out of this and prosper.
