I searched RR for custom paint and came up with some rather old threads. You might also want to consider dipping.

I looked on the canomod site but they don't have Bergen canopies listed might try to contact their email to see if I can get one. I remember years ago canopyfx was a good place to buy my custom canopies but I am assuming they went out of business.

Here is an example of a heli canopy being dipped.

Watch at YouTube

All I can say is that graphics are unlimited and there are many hydrographic artists, so you don't have to do it yourself. I am pretty sure you can create your own design. I have seen really cool weapon designs.

How does the finished product hold up against gas, nitro ?? Clear coat needed for protection??

Been there, done that and old enough to know better.....

did you catch the part where he said the transfer graphic was an oil based paint? That means you can do anything on top of it. I would clear coat it. I have seen better finished graphics jobs, but not videos of the process. I have seen the finished product up close and you would think that it had been air brushed.

You can dip just about anything you can think of. Just has to be dry.

Well canomod is a no go, here is the email I got back from them:

Hi Dallas,

Sorry, we don't have this canopy so we can't make it for you.

Thanks,

JUSTIN

Hey Chris I want the big long canopy with the cheeks on the sides and something in orange, and yellow with the silver look windshield and possibly checkered racing flag scheme. Or the American Flag w/Eagle scheme Red, White and Blue

The cheeked canopies are no longer available, all are now flat sided...

You can pick a design on the Canomod website and I can include it in my order. Understand it may take up to 4 weeks to receive the order from them.
