It does not look good for Senator McCain. I am sorry to see this happen. He has given everything for this country.

I have no love for John McCain, matter of fact, quite the opposite. He is a Rhino, and saying he is 'Moderate' is a large stretch. He also went after my team (MCRD PI Drill Instructors) because some rich 'Mothers of America' was a big donor of his during a election year and didn't like how her son was treated, and called for us all to receive a courts martial (didn't happen). Just as with Jimmy Carter, he should have retired a long time ago and kept his dignity and respect. But he didn't.

So, with that said, I will always defend his Military Service, and believe me, there are those that will try to crucify that time period he served. What he went through was unbelievable, and most men probably would have broke. He did not.

When the POTUS made that stupid statement about him being a looser for being 'captured' I just about crapped blood. What an asinine thing to say.

I do not wish him ill heath, and I do hope he retires, recovers from this illness, and enjoys the rest of his life with his family and friends...full of peace and happiness.

He may be a lot things, but weak he is not. He is a fighter, no doubt. Just like he was during his service to our country.

Military Service does not allow me to forgive the man for being a RINO. We made our wishes crystal clear in the last election and he along with other RINO's have betrayed us.
I wish him a speedy recovery but he needs to step aside and take the other RINO's with him..

Republican wildcard Donald Trump tells the audience at the Family Leadership Summit in Iowa his thoughts on Sen. John McCain, who called a room full of Trump supporters, "crazies."

Trump fires back, saying in 2008 he "raised a million dollars for the guy, that's a lot of money... he lost, he let us down. He lost, so I never liked him as much after that. I don't like losers."

At that point, moderator Frank Luntz interrupts, asking Trump if McCain deserves respect simply for his record in Vietnam.

No way, says Trump. "He insulted me, and he insulted everyone in that room... He is a war hero because he was captured. I like people who weren't captured... perhaps he was a war hero, but right now he's said a lot of very bad things about a lot of people."

Trump continued, saying McCain "graduated last in his class at Annapolis [Naval Academy]... You're not supposed to say that somebody graduated last or second to last, because you're supposed to be very nice."

QUESTION: John McCain, a war hero, five and a half years as a prisoner of war and you called him a "dummy."

bottom line is, the man stopped being useful in the Senate 20+ years ago. I can respect his military service, but beyond that, I lose all respect for the man. In my mind, he ranks right up there with the Reids, Pelosis and Schumers of the world.
You'd like to think he'd go home and enjoy his remaining days surrounded by family, but he'll prop himself up at that desk until he drops dead on it. That's a guy that's swallowed his own political propaganda for far too long. Ted Kennedy is my direct comparison.
