After selling my Rib I bought a new sports boat that has a steering console along with a Yamaha 20 hp engine, when moving around on the water slow is it a normal thing the motor drifts sharply to one side, in this case the steering turns to the right.

One person in the boat or two?

You can trim it out to go straight with just you.

My 25hp pulls to one side with just me in it, with 2 it cleans it up.

Small boats are effected more then larger boats that don't change with the amount of passengers

It happens all the time from one to 3 people, I think its worse at full low trim, I am struggling with the trim at the moment.

It's do to prop rotation, the really solution is a second engine with a counter rotating prop.

Adjust the outboard ANODE trim tab. It's round and has a fin.

Not to be confused with TILT trim.

Thanks will have a look, the other problem I get is ventilation, when turning at a moderate speed the engine will roar as in overspeed, I did research that this is caused by the prop sucking in air and because the trim is to high, I tried it again a few times but at full low trim its better but still does the roar sound, if I turn slow its normal.
