Looking at the V-bar setup with the YEP 120hv and theres a way to use the governor function by creating a v-bar adaptor cable. I was wondering if the governor mode on the IKON2 works the same way by using the signal input "programming lead" by using the same adaptor cable.

heres some instructions.

I don't know how to set up a vBar.

I know that the iKON manuals that are included with the software are pretty good at explaining how to use the gyro's internal gov.

If some special cable is required for the YEP (due to opto-isolation or some other electrical issue), then it would be detailed in the manuals that come with the MSH setup software

Also, the ECS will need an "RPM out" lead that can connect to the gyro's RPM sensor port.
This tells the gyro's gov how fast the ESC is actually turning the motor

You will most likely need the YEP ESC programmer.
I suspect there are going to be some setting that need to be changed to put the ESC into a "multi-rotor" or "direct throttle" setting

Believe 1/2 of what you see and none of what you hear.
Fake News will be the downfall of our Republic!
