This man, William Morva is set to be executed today, July 6 2017.
My question is, should a person be executed if his mental state is questioned ?
So, here are a few things to consider.
.
1) Can the person have any reasonable chance of rehabilitation ?
2) Is he a lethal danger to society, or his guards and care givers ?
3) How much will incarceration for life cost society ? (He will require a personal cell and special care)
This may be a little controversial, I kind of want to know what others think..
.
.

I think about the hereafter. I go somewhere to get something, then wonder what I'm here after ?

Just a little more on the William Morva:
William Charles Morva is convicted of the two 2006 shooting deaths of Sheriff's Deputy Cpl. Eric Sutphin and hospital security guard Derrick McFarland, in the town of Blacksburg, Virginia, United States.

I think about the hereafter. I go somewhere to get something, then wonder what I'm here after ?

I am somewhat against the death penalty for several reasons. This guy is really mentally disturbed. If it were not for his killing two guards that were taking him to the hospital for medical help, I would say spare him.

Given the situation and how dangerous he is, I have no qualms giving him the needle that he so richly deserves.

Just a little more on the William Morva:
You already had me at "This man"

This convicted cop killer. Liberal pieces of garbage may go boo hoo over his mental state, but these pieces of garbage wont pay for his crimes or continued cost of survival for a piece of crap.

IF YOU DO NOT set an example of what not to do, people will continue to take advantage of these liberal PC correct loopholes protecting criminals.

Over a 100 shot in Chicango over the weekend, because the laws are not stiff enough.

and LIBTARD SNOWFLAKES WANT SOFTER LAWS AND REVOLVING DOORS.

SCREW THAT KILL THESE SCUMBAGS

A good defender can spin a yarn to make every criminal appear mentally challenged. Heck, were they not, they would not commit the crime. And when you commit murder, as far as I am concerned, you willingly offer your life in exchange . . .

Whack his ass as cheaply as possible . . . I have no desire to support vermin for life, and one thing is an absolute: Dead bodies can never reoffend (or be released by libtards)!

Friends don't let friends become electrotarded . . . .

Do you realize how many people get away with murder every year? There are many murders that are never solved.

Random, stranger murder is probably the most difficult to solve.

This answered question number two quite definitively.

boy, you asked a really tough question, on one hand he is just another Charles Manson, on the other hand you can find my story on the Hall Wall of the Court House in my home town,,

in short, back in the late 1930s a man was hung for Robbing a women, and Killing her, and burning down the women's house with her in it,, but in the 90s a man confessed to the killing on his death bed

1) Can the person have any reasonable chance of rehabilitation ?

answer; No, not at all

2) Is he a lethal danger to society, or his guards and care givers ?

answer; yes, very much so

3) How much will incarceration for life cost society ? (He will require a personal cell and special care)

answer; too much

If you are found guilty of maliciously and purposely take a life (murder), then yours should be taken as well.

I think they should have no longer then 6 months to file a appeal and be heard. After that, 30 days, then death by whatever means the states wish to use.

This crap of them eating up tax payer dollars and resources for years and years, is just BS.

It is not fair to the families and to the criminal either.

Wow... I guess you believe justice is perfect. You do know they have executed innocent people? You are entitled to a public defender. The counties worst drunk lawyer charging the cheapest hourly rate. They give the drunk enough hours to attend the trial and nothing else.

The innocents project has proven time and again how unjust the American legal system is. Emagine facing murder charges when you have several alibi witnesses and being convicted. It has happened.

You have to allow appeals, you would want them for yourself.

That said I am happy this guy has drawn his last breath. The system worked. It took a long time, but he was given his rights.

Sorry that I am not Republican enough for this tight britches crowd.

No system is perfect...and our system is no different. However, I still believe we have the best system in the world....we just need to get rid of about 65% of the sharks, I mean lawyers and our court system will stop being tied down by BS lawsuits.

Don't care if you are a liberal or a 'tight britches' Republican.

You commit murder, purposely and with malicious intent, you should loose your life as well. Not that hard to think about.

though true, those numbers are noise considering how many put to death were criminals...

I can deal with an imperfect system as long as justice is done for 95% or more.

and with today's technology in forensics, video cameras everywhere and the perpetual existence of data on the internet... if you're convicted and sentenced to death with irrefutable evidence... you should be executed the next day AFAIC... none of this continuance BS that drags out for years, all that does is make Lawyers rich.

showing a preference will only get you into trouble, 90% of everything is crap...

Well this guy was not innocent, so why are you shooting your mouth off about THIS justice?

If we know who was guilty without a doubt, there is no reason AT ALL, to keep this scum alive in prison.

The reason we have so much crime is because of liberal PC bullcrap, and bleeding heart losers THAT DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE VICTIMS
