Just recently I've gotten back into helicopters and I'm in Minnesota and all the hobby stores that used to have all the Nitro helicopters and parts now have nothing and they claim they don't ever sell any. They do sell some of the newer small electric Helis... with the popularity of the drones is that why helicopter world seems dead!??!

I agree and I'm gonna have fun like always. This last week I bought a Bade Nano, Blade 130 S, Blade 360 Trio, T Rex 700, and T Rex 600. I may get a Goblin also.

The FAA didn't help that fact.

Plus all the new GPS tech, RTF's, and plug n play options lead to a new breed that cares less about the process of learning and the joy of RC. But cares more about having some ready-made out of the box that requires little or no skill i.e. drones.

While there are not as many options as before, there are still plenty of real pilots out there and some good helis to choose from.

I hope this drone phase will pass. Until then, the web should keep you flying.

Welcome back!
