Well I got it today and to be honest I'm not that impressed with it I mean it's nice heli but I don't care about the tail boom at all so it may go back up for sale. I was pondering on a goblin or the logo 480 or the nx4 I think I should of went with the 480 or the nx4

BK479, you might want to fly it before considering selling it. Goblins fly very well IMO - not that the Logo 480 is any slouch either. Just fly your 500 first. It may just put a smile on your face despite the atypical tail boom.

I don't know I'm just used to the traditional boom and pod. This thing seems cheep and cheesy it the first time I had one in my hands and I'm not in pressed at all but maybe after I fly it it will change my mind. And it feels on the heavy side also Any where to get a plane boom and canopy I do auto body and paint if I keep it would like to do my own pain't scheme

You might think Cheap and Cheezy. It is not. It is well thought out. You might be use to the old way of pod and boom, but Goblins have a purpose for every part on the Heli. Just give it a shot. If you don't like it sell it. Most Goblin owners are impressed when they build the Heli then fly it, that is what I have seen.

Pod and Boom bells are "cheap and cheesy" they can't even put any craftsmanship into the tail boom...all they use is a extruded tube. Just had to get the dig in there.

I like the goblins tail boom because it provides better visibility in the air. I wont go back.
People are always worried about crash costs...bit I say practice on the simulator so you don't crash because of dumb thumbs.

Boom and pod maybe cheep but it works and has been for years and at least it does have a better mounting system and not plastic bolts holding it on and lighter
And have watched some videos of the goblin and the tail boom just flew off in mid flight never seen that with a boom and pod lol

But all in all it's a nice helicopter just not for me so it listed now
