Why bother to vet them?...just give'em jobs at TSA.
TSA Fails to ID 73 Airport Employees With Links to Terrorism

A new Department of Homeland Security Inspector General report found that the Transportation Security Administration failed to identify 73 aviation employees with active clearance badges with links to terrorism.

The people, who were employed by major airlines, airport vendors and other employers, were not identified because TSA is not authorized to receive all terrorism-related information under current inter-agency policies, the report said.

Well, they'd know how to pat down a camel, wouldn't they...

Know why they call camels "ships of the desert"?

'Cause they're full of arab seamen....

Just the threat of being "looked" at a bit harder will help a bunch. Look at what happened to illegals after Trumps election everything dropped from crossings to assistance applications and this will have the same result. Now the hard core will always find a way around but anything ( once again) is a improvement over what we had.

Yes but that effect is only temporary... once the news gets out that really nothing has changed, the BS will return to "normal" levels.

for example... look how the Brits used to have respect for law enforcment... so much so that they didnt even carry a firearm.... now given the way things are... what is there to fear? Brit Cop: "Stop! I Said STOP!.... OR I'LL say stop AGAIN!"

showing a preference will only get you into trouble, 90% of everything is crap...

We cross that bridge when we get to it.

None of us know the particulars, this is typical and the attitude that we failed before we even start just sucks.
