Palm sized, foldable and small as a cell phone the new 2.4Ghz Eachine E52 can fit into any pocket and be taken on the go with you. Its light weight makes it unbelievably durable too. The E52 is a really fun mini quad copter that anyone can learn to fly. If you have never flown a quad copter before the E52 is just right for you. It gives any beginner stability control to allow it to virtually fly by itself. With the one key return function it easily comes back to the pilot. Once you've mastered the basics, you can switch to a more aggressive flight mode with higher rates for faster flying speeds and more maneuverability. Coming in at just $49.99 all you have to do is install (4) AA batteries into the transmitter, charge the drone and Fly!

PROS
- Fully Assembled Ready To Fly
- Inexpensive

CONS
- Only one battery includes

OPENING THE BOX

The E52 comes in a small box with the E52 quad and its specs printed on the sides of the box. When you open the box you find the E52 and it's transmitter packed in their own formed plastic insert to prevent shifting during transportation. The box also serves as a great travel case for the E52. In the box you will also find a bag containing extra props, a prop removal tool and the USB lipo battery charger. Also included is a full size and mini instruction manual. After removing the E52 out of the box I unclipped the battery out of the quad and put it on charge using the supplied USB charger. Depending on flight length charge times can take up to 60 minutes.

IN THE AIR

After the charge was complete it was time to fly. The E52 comes prebound to the included radio. Once you have unfolded the blades simply turn the quad on first with a push of the button on top, then the radio. After the beeps and flashing is complete simply push the transmitter sticks in opposite bottom corners to activate the motors and fly. To land simply repeat the start step to stop the motors. If you want to fly FPV, take and record pictures and video or fly virtual you will want to download the UFO app. To view video from the drone you will need to connect to the drones wifi through your mobile device. Once complete you will see the video through your mobile device. This little micro has the look of a futuristic flying Chevy Corvette. It hovers very smooth and with altitude hold mode function provides stable flight for the new pilot to master the controls. This little quad shares the same the flight controls of a bigger quad or helicopter as to how it is controlled. It tracked well right out of the box but ha digital trims if it drifts in anyone direction. Don't let its little size fool you either. With confidence you will be spinning and flipping in no time! I was impressed how quick it would flip and roll. Once ready to perform a flip or roll simply push the 3D button and then push the right stick in the direction you want it to flip or roll.

THE LAST WORD

This E52 drone is fun and easy to operate pocket drone. Flight times averaged around 8-10 minutes with the stock battery pack. This little quad comes in a small package but packs a Big punch. I was impressed from the second I put it into its first hover it my hobby room. Video and picture quality is decent for a $50 FPV quad. I really enjoy flying this mini quad around the house and would recommend it to anybody looking to make the transition from a coaxial helicopter to something more maneuverable. Also a great gift for someone.
