That's quite the collection my friend! ^

"When Compass comes out with another new ship, I am sure I will get that (probably two of them, whatever they are)."
Lol^ I'm sure they're def worth buying[even maybe more than one ]

"Nothing else coming out holds much interest for me, at the moment."

I can see that point of view seeing how you pretty much have every brand/make now hehe ;D

1 micro, 1 360, 1 380, 1 420, 2 700e and 1 700n...I like this fleet. I've thought of selling the 380 and 1 of the 700e but couldn't part with them. I think 4 birds would do me fine

Aswick3,

For a while, I tried to acquire and build one of everything made. I gave up as it became obvious that I could not do it, from both financial and storage standpoints.

I did acquire a good cross-section of machines (Compass, Align, TT, JR, SAB, Alias, Mikado, Hirobo, Miniature Aircraft, GMP, Kavan, American RC, Kyosho, Kalt, Velos, Outrage, Sirocco, etc.) to know that each brand/machine has something different to offer and learn from. They have varying levels of quality, different transmissions, head designs, wieght distribution, flying characteristics, etc. All are good.

One thing that has changed over the last four decades, is that you really can't buy a bad machine these days. That was not always the case.

Of all of the models I have owned/flown, I like the Compass the best.

Was up to 10 plus 2 planks but downsized to a beater, a go to/main and a backup. Also kept my UMX Pitts biplane to mix things up now n then.

Could maintain 10 okay but having 2 and a backup allows me to keep everything tip top and also keep a good stock of crash spares. Also wanted to make some gains in skill this season and find I fly better using the same model almost exclusively instead of bringing 5 models and spend half the time adjusting to different flight characteristics.

Went on a used heli buying spree to try different brands, sizes and models but now that I've found a main and backup I enjoy flying andworking on, I'm content with what I have.

Warm up with 4 flights on the beater then run 9 packs through my go to, charge and repeat. Have the backup that flies similar and shares lipos with my main heli in case I pile up and have to wait for parts to rebuild. Otherwise it just sits.

If I crash the beater... I go home. Just in case it's gonna be one of those off days lol. Fly it recklessly so if I make it through those 4 flights I'm confident I can make through the rest safely

thinking the question was directed toward enough of heli frustration it would be enough to make you go away for a year or more from rc helis altogether due to enough of anything troubling enough to be the last straw. Enough of enough to do that might be crashing all 5 or 6 helis of various sizes you own a minute or less into flight one right after the other, then you do the same with a buds, then go out the afternoon and buy another one and crash it also within a minute of flight, you like that hey? That would be enough of enough for most guys except that crashing in the sim would seal the deal completely.

Sorry, lipos don't count as camp fire fuel either, salt in the wounds maybe.

Haha I hear that^ learnedhardway. Gotta have 'go to' bird and a back up just you can continue to fly. It's just nice as well, flying different sizes, they all have their pros and they're all fun in their diff ways.
Icanfly- frustrations is an understatement lol to me anyways hah. I enjoy it nonetheless!!

Fifteen and I sold two.
That would be OK if I went out a flue more.
Two or three seams like a good idea.

I was a collector of most everthing RC back in 2004 - 2015. and I think I have had over 100 RC's at one time. I guess I just enjoyed buying/building/selling. I kept my first 600N and 700N Helis (flybar) They still fly great! Also have 2 newer electric helis and looking to build another Nitro, but we will see. I still have 20 plus cars/trucks that I should part with too. Fun to break them out every once in awhile.
