How many helicopters does it take to satisfy you... 1 in every class size?? Maybe more. Nitro, gasser, electric, scale, gotta have at least 1 no!? Anyone else finding themselves buying more and more helis and kits when they're not really 'needed'.
What is it that makes you say, man I want this heli gotta have it. Is it the hobby, desire, addiction, latest and greatest.
Idkk, just a random point to ponder I guess, I find myself buying different helis and some, I buy that I already have!
Why do you buy them..and maybe keep buying

I have three helicopters in my fleet. Gaui NX7, Gaui X7FZ, and Gaui X3L. I used to have 15+ helicopters, but three is my magic number now.

I wish I knew the answer to this question. I have 9 helis, 8 planes, 4 cars and 2 boats and find myself shopping every night. I feel like a woman in a shoe store!

well,, I know a guy that said he had close to 50 helis at one time, most in kits and on the bench, I believe him because his good friend, that is my friend knew it was all true,, in the end he crashed, traded, gave some away and sold most of them,

I have another friend that has been flying Heli's since 1974 and he has 12 or 14 Helis flying

There's no set answer. It's up to each individual...

I have a few Logos for general sport flying. If one crashes, I'm not dead in the water. Just grab another, and try again.

I like to build as well as fly, so when the mood strikes, I'll get another depending on what I would like to build.

Thank you Aswick3. I`ve been very happy with them, especially the NX7. I just love the way it flies. Here is a photo of the fleet taken a couple months ago at the flying field.

Haha, I'm sure there's no 'real' answer as to why we have so many, but damn, 50 helis is a lot!
That NX7 is a sharp looking machine!! What are you flying in it Gee?

Geena, do you port your YS pipe?

Meaning do you match the YS engine's exhaust port size to that of the pipe?

It's all of the above but usually after I do a total re-kit of my favorite machine.

Damn that ground is hard! When's the right time to get out of this money sucking hobby?

I used to chase the magic bullet in that when ever a new design came out with some sort of NEW innovation I would chase the BS these manufactures would put out. Now I have an older trex600 and an old trex700 and a logo and guess what....they suit me just fine....no more chasing the "dream machine", even though goblin is coming out with that direct drive 280............wait forget what I just said.

Full circle for me too. I used to have quite a few helis and planes, i found that i was only actively flying a few. 2 helis and 3 planes is plenty for me.

"Hi EEngineer. No, I did not port it.It`s making plenty of power without porting though."

Used to fly YS engines exclusively in pattern comp.

Would port the Hatori header into the YS's exhaust port to eek out a few 100 RPM's extra after tuning the pipe length....

41 years of flying these things...

70+ machines collected.

About half reasonably current and flyable.

I have about enough now.

When Compass comes out with another new ship, I am sure I will get that (probably two of them, whatever they are).

Nothing else coming out holds much interest for me, at the moment.
