This method is recommended by Henseleit for the Kosmik ESC.
It also works with the Jive 80HV ESCs, too.
It might work with other ESC brands.
Assumes the Kon ESCs have been upgraded to their latest firmware version(mine are), but that might not be necessary.
His procedure involves uses the throttle channel to first program the Kontronik APM(Mode 1) and also Heli-Mode(Mode 4) without using the throttle stick.
The procedure involves using the throttle hold(TH) switch and Idle UP switch (he uses Idle Up 2...IU switch position 2). TH has a higher "priority" than that of the throttle stick position, ensuring that a 0% throttle signal is present when programming.
First, in your TX, set a "flat curve" for 100% for IU2(will be set back after programming to 80% if using the Kontronik governor).
Go through the ESC's programming procedure, but instead of using the throttle stick, you use TH for 0% and IU2 for 100% for the ESC to recognize what you desire.
1 beep for APM(Mode 1).....4 beeps for Heli-Mode(Mode 4) in the Kontronik ESCs....I don't know what the beep sequence is...or means...for other ESC brands.....but in theory it should also work.
Remember to set your IU2 curve back to 80% afterwards.
