Just change the 10-year old fuel tanks due to dent, crack, and leak.

Fewer fuel, less weight, better agility.

Less air time.

Tanks

hi kevin, still would like the skid,s you had made with the power coating. I put a Vario skid set on my trex 800 to get it up higher so the turbine doe,s not suck up dirt. still like your skid,s.

Kevin do you have a governor on the turbine or do you have a second idle up setting after your turbine is running, ready to hover as my wren 44 has not and the throttle curve is high trim and up to 60% at mid stick up to 100% full throttle. but when I pull the throttle-pitch down the turbine takes a bit to come back up to flying speed! as this happened the last time I was flying the model to pass my Endorsement doing a circuit coming down and putting more throttle in to stop the model going into the ground? regards ivor.

Hi, rcglo1:

I "have a second idle up setting after your turbine is running,"

My idle/s are always almost 100% throttle~ it depends on the engine's rpm vs gear ratio vs blades size so as to determine the rotor head speed that you want.

My rotor head speed is fixed (hover 1450, fly 1900 rpm for 800mm).

When I fly, I change only pitch.

For your reference.

rotor speed

thanks Kevin, I need to have a look at the top end speed with the wren 44, I think 100% is to much as the rotor speed will be to high but thank you for your input with this and will work on this until I get it right.ps how do you tell what rotor speed you have? tacho, or on-board through the radio?
