Yes we would, but at least we'd be doing it in a "civil" manner.
actually....no. this is the very reason we have different cultures, different beliefs and the very reason we have the problems in society between these groups that we do.
as sad as it is... if there were no muslims on the earth... we would likely be fighting someone else. If the earth were nothing but muslims, they would STILL be killing each other.
I don't think muslims really understand civility in the sense that we are use to it, because the concept of Free Speech is totally alien to them.
In thier minds, they are right... in our minds we are right. whats right and what is wrong is simply a matter of perspective or mindset. right and wrong are constructs of the human mind based on a governing logic made from religion/beliefs, empathy and sympathy.
Well it depends on what "right" you are trying to promote, doesn't it? It also relates to the self regulatory effect of most of the group of people demanding and believing in EQUAL rights for all. muslims, by their retarded Queeran, do not understand this, which is why some of them behave the way they do. A normal basic right to which we can all agree with is the right to "freedom", to personal safety and respect of personal space, to do the things that a person wants to do as long as he/she is not taking or diminishing the rights of others in the process. What gives them the right to form grooming gangs and rape innocent children or blow themselves up in a concert that has nothing to do with their culture? And why should we placate and appease them afterwards when they play the victim card in fear of retribution? There is really only so much we can take before we tell them to go away and live somewhere else and take their sense of "right" with them. Is it any wonder they needed monster dictators to keep them in check otherwise all hell breaks loose? We've been too soft in our treatment of them, and our PC libtards are complicit in all this. .
the universe does not recognize right or wrong... and this world favors the strong, cunning and ruthless in all its forms.
the universe may not recognise right or wrong but as human beings we are a biological entity, which means we are subject to biological rules. Nothing of our psychology or our inherent behaviour patterns are formed in a vacuum, they evolved over time. So we have two options: we die out as a species or we continue. If we wish to continue we have to learn to live harmoniously with each other (within reason), that's the only way. We have enough experience and enough reasoning in our minds to know what works and what doesn't and so we should plan our political policies accordingly, even though we might makes mistakes here and there along the way.
This quote by A A Gill about your country is very apt (a compliment that cannot be overstated enough):
America didn’t bypass or escape civilisation. It did something far more profound, far cleverer: it simply changed what civilisation could be.
An ex-muslim told me that in some of the muslim north African countries they has a phase in which they thought Free Speech would solve their problems, but now that they see how the Arab Spring worked out they changed their minds. It's rather sad that these people are that retarded because that is not what Free Speech is about. The concept of Free Speech is so that ideas, concepts, any weird and strange thing et, goes out in the open and can be openly discussed without fear of violence or death. When you have that, along with having multiple cultures etc, you get an amazing mix of ideas and avenues to explore. Of course most of these are dead ends, but just some will move the culture that has Free Speech to another level. This is true of the Arts as well as the Sciences. Basically Free Speech is the right to explore and be unhindered in your exploration. But if you kill people because of what they say, like in Iran people are killed for "insulting islam", then what you have is stagnation of intellectual development, and everything becomes stunted - the whole society becomes stunted. Which is why muslim countries don't really progress. And the other wonderful about Free Speech is that it allows people to change their minds over their lifetimes, and maybe later on they get better intellectually because of the accumulated experiences that they've been through from their mistakes: I am sure that there are plenty of artists and scientists who made it big later in life because of this, but if these people are killed early on for their "mistakes" society will not reap that benefit. On similar lines I remember a comment that an American woman said about the gays after the Orlando nightclub shootings, it was something along the lines of:I don't agree with what these people are doing, but you know maybe some of them later on will contribute and advance society in their own way, but now they've been killed we'll never know.
