Really wish the Army had put together a demo team. About as close as we ever got is when they allowed the Boeing Factory test pilots to Demo the aircraft at the Farnsbourgh Airshow.

Believe it or not, we actually did a lot of these maneuvers in flight school when the A model first came out. Then the Army in it's infinite wisdom decided on restricting the aircraft before it got out of hand. Literally!

What keeps the engines from sucking some air in during a loop? That, and the lube oil supply for the engines?

Could have done without the irritating music. Why do some need to add background music, particularly repetitive nonsense music that adds no value to the video.

I'm not an engineer, but this is a military specification helicopter and designed for maneuvering and evasive maneuvers. The oil supply would be pressurized and the air supply I don't see being an issue as it's low level operations.

Try to desribe this as best as I can. Behind the main shaft coming off the upper body there are two rods about two feet long, one on both sides with a small device hanging down off them and they look like they pivot according to the angle of the nose to tail. What are those?

Those are a type of Pitot tube associated with barometric pressure for altitude/speed lock in. Secondary system along with the GPS and LIDAR altimeters, redundant for some systems(speed indication and altitude), integral for others(last word should you have electronic failure). Also sense movement speed to aircraft attitude or attack angle to prevent stall. Have to be kept out of the main rotor wash, but yet able to sense barometric and movement induced pressures.

Cool, thank you.
