When AMA had the chance to support him they didn't. At least they could man up and help to defray his costs.

"When AMA had the chance to support him they didn't. "

Exactly....

I am now convinced the AMA considers him their enemy, so they will never help him in any way.

In fact, I believe the current AMA hierarchy will do all they can to discredit him behind the scenes.

But they will feed us all total nonsense via email and their silly BS in Model Aviation issued by that twerp Chad B.

EE, Your posts are so full of hyperbolic BS it makes me giggle. They ignore the entire history of the organization and the many thousands of individuals who have dedicated good portions of their lives in support of the hobby at large. This lynch mob a few are organizing using a SINGULAR event but based really on a general state of discontent is typical of too many Americans today. Do nothing that adds any value to society but be just as quick to join an angry mob as a celebration.

So why is the FAA allowed to keep the registration page up and functioning? If a court ruled that I had been taking money illegally with an online website, how long do you think I would be allowed to leave it up and continue collecting money from those who didn't hear about the court case?

I only need ONE more heli... just one more than I have... :)

it seams to me that the FAA needs to be sued to get all that money back to the rightful owners

The SFA (Sport Flyer's Association)? Wasn't that about 20 years ago? I remember all of the arguments over it...seems it had a rather interesting demise.

They unsuccessfully sued the AMA. Ask google, "sport flyer's association", and you'll find a rather long-ish post on RCG about their inside dealings. It's interesting if you care for that sort of stuff. Frankly, I'm glad they lost the suit and dried up.

Back on topic, yes it will be interesting to see what the FAA does with the registration funds.

What do you expect for $5? They gave us the B4UFly application, and they created the registration system.

Full size aircraft are charged $5 for each aircraft, sUAS are a single charge of $5 per pilot. The registration is good for 3 years. That would be $1.67 per year. Pretty reasonable for this group that spend quite a bit more for each aircraft.

With the FAA having some e-mail addresses, it is possible to quickly announce information of interest to our group.

"Pretty reasonable for this group that spend quite a bit more for each aircraft."

Not reasonable at all.....as they have absolutely no legal right whatsoever to create any Federal Laws.

That's why John A. Taylor prevailed.

Can't you see that?

And what make you think that the FAA....with the "help" of the current AMA hierarchy...will raise that illegal "charge" as soon as they think they can?

"With the FAA having some e-mail addresses, it is possible to quickly announce information of interest to our group."

Info????.....Don't you mean BS?

Why not email John A. Taylor to find out what's really going on "behind the scenes"? His info would be of far more greater interest to us all.

Wonderful

Now I can fly outside your daughter and wife's window and photograph them naked. Wanna shoot my drone out of the sky? Think again because my drone is packing and very accurate with it's stabilized gun gimbal. I am going to fly across your property to go get my pizza. Who cares if I drop those steel marbles on your car. I am going to fly next to your car on the interstate and there is not a damn thing you can do about it.

I am going to fly above your daughter's wedding on the beach making enough noise you cannot hear the preacher. I am going to spray DDT from my copter and can never prove who I am. I am going to chase your cattle and horses, nothing you can do about it. I am going to make crop circles in your wheat field, it is much less work this way. I love starting fires. Try proving I was anywhere nearby. I have very long range radio and video equipment.

I am going to fly drugs and people across the border. I am going to hunt your land with my drone and kill everything I see, and I see everything in my car parked miles from the shoot. Forget about all your local laws, I am not even within your boundaries when I fly. I have adapted my drone to use cellular phone thechnology so I can kill from hundreds of miles away.

No rules... this going to be great.

What do you think now? Just in case you cannot tell, due to your small brain, this post is sarcasm.
