Is it possible for anyone out there is able to explain to me how I can set up the 230s so it will just fly in the normal upright position, no upside down stuff. This model has been driving me crazy.
One of my many problems is, how to set the throttle such that when you move the throttle up to apply power I need the swash to move down to give me the proper blade pitch for flight. How do I make that happen.?
ANY HELP OR ADVICE WILL BE APPRECIATED BY THIS MAYBE JUST TOO OLD HELI MAN TO GET IT RIGHT.

I've set up a bunch at the hobby shop where I work and have never had a problem. I have helped customers that have mis-programmed their radio. I suspect that you may have missed or changed a programming step.

JPLot, I have set this particular heli up to fly on my transmitter then on my brothers radio for him to fly it, It is a great learning heli. If the pitch is moving down - to negative - as you are advancing throttle it just won't fly. I would suggest going over the programming steps really carefully again. I think you have your cyclic reversed. Good luck, let us all know what you find out & how it works out...and this is coming from a guy that is probably way older then you...Andy

Inverted IS more fun!

If you are using your DX6i transmitter, select Helicopter mode, single servo.

All channels "normal travel direction." NOTHING should be Reversed.

Wrong on the DX6i. I just set up one today for a customer and the Pitch channel IS reversed. All other channels are normal.

Must be an error in the manual, then. Think they would have corrected that by now.

The settings I provided are right out of the PDF manual. Unfortunatly, they didn't format properly when I did the copy and paste.

If you are in the "Panic" mode, there will be almost no movement of the swash. If you follow the DX6i instructions in the manual, everything should be OK. Make sure that the ELEV D/R Switch is in Pos 0 = Panic Mode Off.

Wow, I'd blame misreading the manual on my glasses, but they are fairly new.
