what's the gig with that gaddam foo-l shyt ehh man?

That synergy n9, what was the problem, was it supplied with ti from the factory and what problems did they run into? I know in some circumstances ti is not a preferred metal due to it being an elasto-metal, it bends like a spring and returns to original if it hasn't been over bent. My 8mm main shaft in my shuttle xxx I'll call it was bent when I got the ti rod, It took a lot of force to bend it to extremely near perfect and I didn't appreciate getting the rod stock bent in the mail when it came, ya gotta do what ya gotta do.

Remember this discussion is only focused on the nuts and bolts, even though I've made my own shafts for the shuttle, at times it's a bit of a bother to work. With the align 700dfc I stopped at making a ti main shaft because the original was half a gram heavier, it's steel hollow, works plenty good.

I dunno? But Tony Stark told me to use the vibranium, so I did. My G123BB gyro never worked better!

back when I ran an OPS 45 (and an OPS 90) in my glow boats I once ate a Connecting Rod in my 45 because the Rotary Valve came loose, so I called to buy a Ti Rod and the guy told me NOT to buy one because I do not race, he said they are only good for all out racing, and the Racers will change them ofton because they will weaken and snap or crack, that was in the early 90s, I have not seen a Glow Engine Ti Connecting Rod for sale in the 16 years I have been flying

That's a bit of bullshyt about use, under normal non racing conditions the rod would have lasted quite long compared to a disposable buy again and again racer destruction attitude one, he turned you off to protect his turf. Ti con rods do have a limited lifespan as is well known in the Top Fuel dragster and other top level race car biz, and they cost huge bucks. In a boat they aren't about saving weight as much as reducing moving mass, in automobiles it's both and about reducing engine vibes.

Every advantage a person can get they hold to themselves and tell the world, "ohh, you don't want that, it's no good" and laugh behind your back that your foo-ish not to go for it.

Vibrainium, Captain Americas shield, do you take guys for being idiots?

There are winners and there are losers, plain and simple.

he turned you off to protect his turf.
he owned a hobby shop and specialized in RC boats and engines and he raced, he lived in Cal while I lived in Vt, he had no worries about me driving to Cal and racing him, if he was BSing me about the rod, so be it, like I said it was back in the earl 90s

you didn't get the jive to that? You have to have lots of money to go fitting your toys with titanium. I've got it pretty good considering the odds I've been through (thus the bitch part) and as I'm beginning to enjoy life by putting the past far behind me ti is not something I necessarily need however it sure is rich people's fun and it's fun to be spoiled like the big mix samich. You should see the auto bolts the guy sells, mucho denerio amigo, mucho, serious coin. Quite the distraction. I get giggles thinking how accessible some top grade things are. Nuts bolts and other ti bits for the Al700dfc cost up to $250 with an average price of $2 a bolt/screw, haha.

Some people will never learn due to arrogance, not my problem. You want progress you have to jump in and just go for things while telling the whole world to kma. This topic as much a message to hf as it is a vein of truth to the point what goes around comes around except maybe ten fold.

science, some people don't know, some don't want to know because they didn't discover it first. You gonna learn.
