Hi guys

A Quick question about the rescue mode on the vbar neo. I am used to the way the demon 3sx does rescue...no matter what the condition theheli is in, on the demon when the rescue switch is engaged the heli climbs straight up and corrects for any lateral movement as long as the switch is held.

On the vbar neo the heli simply corrects itself (levels) with no climbout and continues on in the direction it was going (does not correct for drift). This was tried on a level hover...I have not tried any moves yet as I want to be sure this is the correct behaviour. When the heli is on the table the swashplate climbs up for a second or two and slowly goes back to the position it was in before the rescue was activated.

Thanks

My flying buddy were out last week comparing NEO Rescue to MSH Brain Rescue.

On the matter of drift, neither unit compensated, as you have noticed on the NEO. Additionally, all that is required to activate on NEO is a flip of a momentary switch--no need to hold the switch down.

However, there is a setting here to manage the amount of collective applied in NEO during Rescue.

To be clear, on NEO, if we made a pass right to left, starting at 100'AGL upline and descending to 50'AGL right in front of us and briefly hit Rescue at 50', the path of the heli would be a giant 'V' shape, with the heli ending up down line from us. The symmetry of the 'V' shape will largely be affected by the collective parameter entered in the screen above.

if it ain't broke, break it.

thanks. So it is working as intended. I guess the Demon's implementation is better....drift can get you into trouble in a tight spot. However I am not using vcontrol (futaba radio) so where can I find the parameters to adjust the rescue behaviour?

Thanks
