Does anyone know what it takes to convert a belt start (which is a pain) to a top start using a hex type starter?

What parts I would need?

Best solution.. a motor with pull-start
Hello, try to find a motor with pull start (Os 32sf-hx o sx-hx), because the frame for the top-start is different..,( i assume you have the Z version right?), you need the cluch bell, bearings, hex, etc., and it's difficult to adapt those parts in the frame you have. I have 2 Shuttles (belt-start too) but wiht pull-start engines is very easy to start and go fly.

Finally I have a Turbine heli.. :) Mobb Powercat !!

When I had my ZX, I really wanted that belt to go away too I also
thought about a pull start, but ended up w. a rear cone-start OS32
which was a real luxury after that $*^& belt. Probably long gone, but
might be one floating around out there.......somewhere?

Brings back lot of good memories though, just thinking about it.
